Past, Present, Future

Living in the Past, Hanging in the Present, or Moving Forward?
It's the time we must challenge ourselves and ask this question.
Am I really moving forward in what God wants to do in me?
Am I moving forward in the calling he has placed on my life?
Am I hanging in the present?
Am I satisfied with where I am?
Is God satisfied with where I am?
"If you're hanging out in the present, you might as well be living in the past." - Jordan Hunt
Time moves faster than lightening. Our present is always becoming our past.
What happens if we get stuck in the present?
It passes by and nothing gets done.
We need to shift from a state of comfort where we're at and move forward if we want to accomplish what God has for us.
We can't do anything in the past. We hear, "our hope is in the future." How true is that? We hope for things unseen...that is faith. If we're not constantly moving forward, how are we living a faithful life? Would it be considered living a faithless life? How are we having faith in Christ? How are we sharing our faith? It is impossible for any of these if we get stuck in the past or present. We must turn from that state of comfort and move forward.
But it isn't easy! As humans, we have a tendency to look back and much worse, to dwell there. Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. How much salt would fill the earth if things like that still happened? Even when things are going good or something gets accomplished, we can't stay where we are being excited about what has been done, we have to move to the next project, the next person, the next soul the next child of God.

Challenge yourself: MOVE FORWARD!
